How to train during a steroid cycle correctly

Training during an anabolic steroid cycle is very different compared to the “natural” training process. There are a number of differences that you need to know before making up a training program for an anabolic  steroid cycle.

In our body, there are special Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) molecules that serve as a source of energy during physical exercises. The number of exercises, sets and reps when training on steroids

On an anabolic steroid cycle, your training should include more exercises, sets and reps per muscle group. If during training “naturally” athletes usually perform 2 – 3 exercises for a large muscle group, and 1 – 2 exercises for a small one. Then when training on a cycle of steroids, you need to perform 4 – 5 exercises for a large muscle group, and 2 – 3 exercises for a small one.

The number of sets in the exercises should also increase compared to natural training. The number of sets in one exercise when training on steroids should be 4 – 5.

The number of repetitions in the set should also increase. If during training naturally bodybuilders usually do from 6 to 12 repetitions. Then when training on steroids, it is recommended to keep the range at 12 – 15, and in the very last sets in general 20 repetitions.

With these guidelines, you will achieve high volume workouts.

Rest between sets when training on steroids

To achieve high intensity in your workout, you will need to shorten your rest between sets. When training using steroids, you should be able to easily do this, because most steroids increase endurance. For example turinabol, which was invented for this purposefully.

Not only intensity and volume differ while training taking anabolic steroids. Protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals on the cycle of steroids are absorbed much better. If the recommended training session for natural athletes should last within 45 – 60 minutes, then taking steroids you can train way more longer. Even after training for 1.5 – 2 hours, your workout will not become catabolic.

While taking steroids, you can train at least every day using a wide variety of training splits. You can break each muscle group into separate days, working it out in very details. You can even do two workouts a day, first training one muscle group, and later the other.

In conclusion, I would like to note that training on steroids is not even close to natural training. You can train bigger, harder, more often, and for longer periods of time without being too worried about your diet and daily routine. Steroids will smooth out all the sharp corners (malnutrition and lack of sleep), and the result will be visible pretty quickly.

But this does not mean I support training only on steroids. Vice versa, steroids can bring harm to your health and the stupidly usage of them is strictly prohibited. If you are not a professional bodybuilder, steroids are not worth taking them.
